What to Expect

What to Expect

What can you expect if you join us for worship?

Music: The music portion of our service is designed to glorify God alone. We seek to follow the biblical model of congregational singing. We invite you to join us in praising God by following the lyrics printed in the bulletin.

Message: The teaching time seeks to communicate God’s truth from Scripture in a clear and understandable way. If you don’t have a Bible, feel free to use the one in the chair in front of you. There is also a space for notes on the back of the bulletin.

Offering: An Offering box is located at the back of the worship center. Envelopes are also available at the back of the worship center. There is also an iPad kiosk should you desire to give securely via credit or debit card.

Lord’s Supper: We celebrate the Lord’s Supper at least once per month. If you are a baptized believer, we invite you to participate.

Hospitality: When you enter GBC through the main entrance, you will be greeted by one of our Hospitality Team members wearing a “Volunteer” shirt. They can answer any questions you have and will be available after service at our “Next Steps” table at the back of the Worship Center.

Children: We offer nursery during every service with a trained and background-checked member of GBC. We also offer Children’s church every Sunday morning except for the last Sunday of the month. You can check in your children or nursery-aged child in the foyer when you enter with help from our Children’s Check-in Team.

How should I dress? Come as you are! At GBC there is no “dress code.” We have members who dress in jeans to slacks to boots to sneakers.  Please don’t let any stereotypes of “church dress” hinder you from joining with us to worship!
