The heartbeat of Grace Kids is to provide age-specific discipleship for Pre-K-5th graders in a safe and clean environment. We approach each element of teaching with the intention to clearly and creatively teach the scriptures in the hopes that those who do not yet believe would come to faith and those who have already trusted Christ would grow in their knowledge of Him.
We also want to have a relationship with the parents and equip them in anyway we can to disciple their children at home. We know the main disciplers in any child’s life are the parents. Therefore, we wish to come alongside parents and help them in anyway we can.
Security & Registration
We take the security and well being of your child very seriously at Grace. We ask that you sign your child in at the Children’s check-in desk at the front entrance. Once you do, you and your child will receive a security label with a unique number. If you are needed during the worship service you will receive a text message. You must present your parent label during check-out.
For security purposes no one (including parents) is allowed in the children’s area with the children besides the adult volunteer(s). All of our volunteers have undergone our Children’s Protection Policy Training as well as a background check. If you would like to view the children’s area, you are more than welcome to after all the children have been checked out and released to their parents.
We ask for every parent and child adhere to our illness policy. If your child has any contagious infection or has been sick in the past 24 hours we ask that you keep your child with you to prevent other children from getting sick.
Our Nursery is available for Newborns-3yrs on Sundays and Wednesdays. At Grace we believe it’s never too early to introduce children to Jesus. That’s why children in the nursery are taught a Bible Story and make a craft that goes along with the story.
Children’s Church is available on Sunday mornings for Pre-K-5th grade during adult worship. We use the Praise Factory material in which kids worship together, learn either a NT lesson, church history or OT lesson. After worship and their lesson, the kids will partake in either a craft, game or other activity that emphasizes the lesson for the day. Activities vary week to week.
The last Sunday of each month is our Family Service. What this means is that we only provide nursery for your child but do not have children’s church. Instead, kids are given activity sheets that include note taking, a Bible Story, cross word puzzle, coloring sheet and more along with crayons. Children may take the activity sheets home with them but please return the crayons and lap board to the info desk.
If you would like to keep your child with you during the Morning Worship Service on any given Sunday we encourage for you to do so. We encourage families to stay together during the service because children emulate their parents.
We offer a free meal for kids & youth every Wednesday at 6pm.
Wednesday nights at 6:30pm we have a program called Bible Drills,Skills & Thrills for kids in Pre-K-5th grade. At Bible Drill kids learn through song, study and games.
The purpose of Bible Drill is to help children:
- Increase in knowledge of the Bible
- Develop skills in locating Bible books and key passages
- Memorize the names of the books of the Bible in order plus selected Bible verses and key passages
- Learn how to apply the Bible to their lives
Come see us sometime, we’d love to have you join us in this study!
